MECOM is the only enterprise communication event in the ME region and focuses on B2B marketing to both telecom operators and service providers. This year it was held in ADNEC from 16th-18th May. Kualitatem being a QA service provider participated showcased their services set. Following our cardinal, Lead By Education, Kualitatem helped organizations understand the value of independent testing in their work process. Kualitatem was the only company participating in MECOM which offered such unique blend of services focused on Quality improvement. Response from the ME telecom sector was encouraging indicating an untapped potential in the ME market.

SP Jain Center of Management conducted an applied research on "Software Testing Services in GCC Region". The research was conducted in close collaboration with Kualitatem being the industrial partner. The objective of the research was to understand the market in terms of size and structure of software testing services and what specialized services are the clients looking for which are not available in the current market. Research findings depict that Saudi Arabia and UAE are the largest markets for 'QA and Software testing services' in this region with a market size of US $ 267 million. While Qatar is the fastest growing market for IT services in this region with 10% expected growth rate between 2010 and 2014. The government of Qatar is pushing ahead on the IT research and development through the recently inaugurated Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), which has already attracted leading international firms.

Kualitatem worked with Text Guard to perform security testing based code review for their .Net based solution. The code review was performed against CWE/SANS (*Common Weakness Enumeration*) and OWASP (*Open Web Application Security Project*) standards. The target businesses of our client are world enterprise customers and managed by veterans in the Compliance, Data Security and Information Technology industries. TextGuard provides a complete mobile electronic communication compliance solution and ensures messaging compliance mandates with all regulatory bodies. The solution provides logging, archiving, monitoring, supervision and alerting of the company's mobile devices.

BBDO engaged Kualitatem as their QA Partners. BBDO - world's oldest media agency, based out of NY- partners with Kualitatem for its QA needs. As a first project Kualitatem was engaged to help test and ensure quality for GE-Health web application. This portal was re-designed and developed by BBDO and need for highest level of Quality created a need for engaging a third party vendor. Kualitatem helped BBDO through verification and validation testing services to successfully launch GE-Health application.

Rokkan selects Kualitatem as QA Partner. Rokkan, a New York based media house, selects Kualitatem as their QA partner. In the first project Rokkan engaged Kualitatem to test one of its major clients Virgin for the re-launch of their corporate portal. The project was quite challenging with tight deadlines and requirement for highest level of Quality standards.

Vavou hires Kualitatem as their external QA team. Vavou, an upcoming web 2.0 company from UK - selects Kualitatem as its end-to-end QA partner. Kualitatem supports Vavou in their entire testing lifecycle providing end to end services.

IBM collaborates with Kualitatem in the area of software testing and quality assurance. Kualitatem will be IBM's vendor in providing services to their clients using Rational Testing Tools. Kualitatem has been selected for the MENA region.

Wateen Telecom signs Kualitatem for the software quality assurance and quality control services. Kualitatem will support Wateen Telecom in maintaining the quality of their applications and ongoing software development.

MIT Global Startup Workshop selects Kualitatem Pvt. Ltd as a case study in their Student Success Story panel, as a part of their 12th global event being held in Cape Town from 25th - 27th March 2009. Kualitatem has been selected as one of the three cases from around the globe and the only one from Asia to be presented in the opening panel of the conference.

The MIT Global Startup Workshop (GSW) is the world's premier conference on fostering entrepreneurship through supportive and catalytic infrastructure such as that epitomized by MIT's entrepreneurial ecosystem. MITGSW believes in creating a global support network for entrepreneurship. Kualitatem team, previously known as Kraysis, is one of the 5 finalists in the MIT Business Acceleration Plan competition. Finalists are screened after a 6 months struggle of developing business plans through mentoring from various professionals appointed from around the globe and then present their plans in front of the jury led by Mr. Ken Morse from MIT Enterprise Forum. MIT BAP is conducted annually by MIT Enterprise Forum of Pakistan which is approved as the 7th international chapter of MIT Enterprise Forum ahead of Major European, Asian, Latin American and African countries. MITEFP of Pakistan's mission is to improve the economic well being of the people of Pakistan through development of an Entrepreneurship Promotion Program for Pakistan. This is in line with the MITEF global mission i.e. the promotion of formation and growth of innovative and technologically-oriented companies through specialized executive education programs. Through these programs, the Forum provides networking, leadership opportunities, and life-long connections to MIT while showcasing MIT's role in entrepreneurship in communities around the world.

Kualitatem team, previously known as Kraysis, has been declared the best startup for Asia Pacific in 2008 by Asia Pacific ICT Association during APICTA Awards held in Jakarta, Indonesia, November 2008.

APICTA is a prominent annual Asia Pacific Information and Communications Technology (ICT) event (since 2001). It provides platform for innovators and entrepreneurs in the ICT sectors to benchmark their products with each other. The aims to stimulating economic and trade relations, technology transfer, business matching opportunities and as show case for invention and creation of ICT innovators and entrepreneurs both individual or corporation in Asia & Pacific Increase community awareness through an internationally recognized Awards event organized with regional co-operation.

P@SHA ICT Awards are premier industry event held annually to showcase the innovation and success from the local industry. Kualitatem participated in GITEX Technology week Dubai from 19th - 23rd October 2008. GITEX is one of the largest IT exhibitions in the world, held in Dubai every year, showcasing technology companies from around the world. GITEX 2008 brought more than 3300 companies from 83 countries at a single platform. Kualitatem has been able to develop potential partnerships to provide Independent Validation and Verification Services to the UAE organizations who are getting custom software through vendors. IVV will help them assure that the software they are getting is defect free and according to the requirements.

7th ITCN Asia, International IT exhibition and conference took place in Karachi Expo Center from 9th - 11th August 2007. A CEO forum was organized by Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) as a part of this event. CEO forum gathered success oriented leaders from all over the world to let them share their views with the local entrepreneurs and enlighten them with the global knowledge economy and the emerging trends. Some distinguished panel speakers included Mr. Geoffrey Coroner- Former Texas Secretary of State, Dr. Tony Murphy - CEO Gartner, Mr. Peter Tesarik - Vice President IBM MidEast, Mr. Mark Allison - Director Emerging Technology Fund Texas, Mr. Faisal Amin - President Texas Trade Council, Mr. Naeem Zaffar - eVenture partners, Mr. Faruq Ahmad - Capital Advisors to name a few. Kualitatem exhibited in the ITCN Asia [Hall 2 - B02] as the 1st Software Quality Assurance company of Pakistan in the category of IT enabled services. Software Quality Assurance got an overwhelming response within the local industry due to the lack of such services in Pakistan. The event facilitated the understanding of such service models by the visitors and representatives of IT companies. A unique and new model with several frameworks to support various development teams in different scenarios was exciting.
